What a little training and persistance can do
Well I thought I would give a little bit of an update....
Harley and I have been working really hard again to build that bond of trust, well it is working. I have started him back with training, and boy is he a different dog. It was a handler/owner mistake as always for letting it go for so long. Harley was too sick to focus much on training. Well the last week he has showed me how much he has missed it. Almost not forgetting a single step. We are working really hard for the heel, because he is very distracted when another dog is across the street. But he has come a long way in a week. On march 30th, Harley and I will be competing 2 times at the blue ribbon fun match. I am excited to get back into the swing of things, I think he will be too. He always preferred to be doing OB than showing. LOL |
