Does your agility trained dog approach the world differently?

What I mean by that is he\she more apt and less scared to try and jump over\through\under things rather than go around them the normal way? Thanks!

Oh, I've found that it made my dog significantly more confident and that he found extreme joy in going out of his way on a hike, for instance, to leap over or balance on logs and things where he wouldn't have had to. LOL. But that was Lyric....partly his own personality, his complete abandon and joy of life and his own sense of humor and partly, I think the agility training. Agility is a great thing to increase confidence and atheletic ability in a dog. They find out they can do all kinds of nifty things. And they gain the added coordination, physical and mental ability to do those things.

I think agility training has definitely made River a lot more confident. Like Carrie said when we go out now he's always leaping over logs, climbing up and down some pretty steep inclines and just leaping around all over the place with amazing co-ordination.

I've also found he jumps around all over things at home a lot more too - we're just lucky he's small I think
