Dog refuses to go back into her dog house outside

I recently moved our dog's house to a different location nearby the old location under a tree. Everything is the same except a different tree a few feet away from the old location. She now refuses to go back into the house. Can anyone tell me why she may be doing this? She has been sleeping outside in a hole she dug nearby.
She is part beagle and lab.

She may not like where the new location of her dog house is. What was the reason for moving it? If it isn't a big deal, try moving it back to the old spot and see if see will go back in.

Out of curiosity, how come she's not allowed in the house?

Try putting her food bowl in the house, or the water bowl. I agree with IBS...try moving it back if you can.

Dog refuses to go in doghouse

Hi, Thanks for your input. I have put the doghouse back and she still refuses to go in. I will try the food and water bowl inside. I have a cat inside and she and the dog do not get along well at all and my husband does not like dogs inside the house to stay. She has always been an outside dog for the exception of cold winter nights when the temp has been below freezing; then we have always brought her inside. She has never behaved like this. Thanks!

Your more than welcome. That's unfortunate that they don't get along, and that your hubby doesn't like dogs inside. Atleast you bring her in on cold nights.. so thats good. How has the weather been there lately? Is it warmer than usual? She may just be wanting to sleep out of her box, but BDL gave a good suggestion to put the food and water in there. If that doesn't work, maybe try coaxing her in there with a nice yummy treat that she will LOVE (like a hot dog, or piece of lunch meat).
