Question Help! My dog is peeing on me!

I have a 9 month old beagle named Tehya. She is loving and friendly and a very sweet dog all around except one thing. She has peed on me twice now. The first time she jumped up behind me while I was sitting on the couch and peed down my back.
And just tonight, she climbed up on the arm of the chair and peed on it but still got me as well. We keep her on a leash in the house so that she has to be right with someone so that we can catch her and take her outside, but she wasn't acting like she had to go either time. We recently had her fixed but the first time she peed on me it was before and the second time was after. I have never seen or heard of a dog peeing on their owner. Please tell me how I can get her to stop!!! Or does anyone know why she would be doing this?

How does she act when she pees? Is she excited? Scared?

My dachshund Jannah peed on me several times when she was younger. She was very submissive and would pee on me. And then Zen (Pug mix puppy) pees on my friend Asia EVERYTIME hes sees her and she holds him..and its because hes excited to see her.

She acts very calm like she is doing nothing wrong. Just very matter of factly. I have seen her on the floor from time to time sniffing for a place to go potty, and we take her out side. But she didn't do that either of these times. I don't know what to do. I'm stumped.

Were you on the couch both times? If so, you should probably clean the couch with an enzyme cleaner (Natures Miracle) and keep her off the couch until she can regain her privelege of being up there. I have a 3 1/2 month old puppy who just walks into the rooms in the house (carpeted) and just pees/poos. She does it without batting an eyelash. So, she has lost her privelege of being in the rooms unless she is being directly supervised in that room or is going straight to her crate.

The only type of peeing on people I've dealt with though is submissive urination.

What type of training has she had? (obedience wise) How has her training been going recently? Have you been keeping up with it, lacking, anything new, etc? Not sure if it could be a leadership issue but it may be something to look at. I've seen dogs try to mark people before....

She has not had any puppy classes but we have gone through the classes before and she is being taught the basics. She seems to be very smart and catches on quickly. Other than the peeing thing, she doesn't act dominant to me. To our other dog she tries to be dominate by puting her back leg over him but to me - nothing.

Yes I was sitting on the furniture she peed on both times. The first time was more directly on me and the second time was on the arm of the chair I was sitting in.

Is she having accidents anywhere else in the house? What is she like when she has and accident, such as does she squat like she is peeing or is she having a bladder issue and peeing while "relaxed".

There is an issue with incontinence due to hormonal imbalances and other issues. Do you think she is just having problems holding in the urine?
