Help with potty training...

Hi! I'm new to the boards. I have one dog, a Yorkie named Shelby. She's the sweetest thing ever, a lazy lap doggy. She's three. I bought her in February but I can't get her house trained. I use the puppy pads for her and she gets the concept because she uses them often but sometimes, out of the blue, she'll go completely off track and poop like in the middle of the hallway! Does anyone have any suggestions? What can I do?

About Shelby pooping in the hallway, is she on the way to poop in the area you trained her to poop like an accident? OR Is she just pooping anywhere she likes? Also is this a new behavior or persistant behavior?
