Talking another question:

Buddy does this ever so often, and not sure why.

My BF frequently walks him at night onces its gotten dark outside, and we both walk him after he's eaten his dinner. If, he goes to take of his coller and leash [we don't keep his coller on unless we go outside], he crunchs down like he is about to hit him, or something.

Why is he doing that? He never does that with me. Its like he thinks he's done something wrong, when he hasn't.

My BF is just getting really fustrated that he is doing this, when he hasn't done anything to him. I have a feeling he was abused before I got him. I just don't know what else to say, because its only ever so often he does this, and he never does with me. And he's fine when my BF is petting him around his neck and puts his coller/leash on, its just taking it off.

And another question --

Buddy was at my mom's on saterday, to play with her dog [they are best friends ]. My brother let them in while she was asleep, not sure for how long, but she woke up and Buddy was dribbling pee. She said it was like, he was trying to hold, and knew he wasn't alowed to go inside but couldn't get outside. I'm probably thinking WAY to much into this, but he hasn't been drinking alot of water, he'll normally drink a WHOLE bunch and is bairly drinking a bowl a day, with freshwater and it being changed etc, could he possibly have a blatter infection? The vet previously mentioned a blatter stone, but wasn't in the x-ray the next day. But i've been told blatter stones can't be picked up via x-ray. Should I bring him to the vet, about that? It just trips me out, because i've never seen him dribbling pee before, like she explained.

I assume it is an everyday buckle collar and not a training collar? It could be something from his past, but you'll never know that. What your BF can do is stop making a big deal about it because that makes Buddy do it more. Ask BF to try squating or kneeling down next to Buddy instead of bending over to take the collar off. That should make him (Buddy) feel a lot better about it. Bending over can seem threatening to a dog.

Maybe someone else can help you with the second question. I can't answer that one. But, I'd take him to the vet if it continues, or if you are concerned about the amount of water he is (or isn't) drinking.

We've used both buckle and snap [I guess thats what they are called] collars, but no "training" collars. I didn't think about the bending over him, being threating, but thats very true.

I've been watching his water intake, to the amount of peeing, and it seemed normal yesterday. He just likes to mark EVERYTHING in sight. And so far today normal.

Thank you

Well, now he's just doing it while i'm not around.

Normally, when myself, or both of us walk in the door after he's been in his crate, he gets really excited and we have to make him settle down before we let him out, etc. Well, BF said that he, just stands there and acts scared. So he'll go get a treat, and tell him he's a good boy, and he wont take the treat, and BF has to open up the crate and con him out. He wouldn't come out for dinner. :/

I also asked him if he's getting down to his level or if he's towering over him, possibly scaring him for some reason. And he said he's bends down to his level, like he would if I were home.

I'm really confused now.
