Vote for the June Book!
Please only vote if you're actually going to participate (regardless of whether the book you voted for is selected).
We have a great selection of books for you next month, choose the one you'd most like you read and the one with the most votes will be the chosen book (Novel & I will chose the book if there is a tie). The voting finishes on the 31st and we'll start the new book right away with the discussion thread being created on the 4th of June. Have fun everyone! Cass. |

Anyone else going to join us? I've already ordered 3 of the books from ebay.
I finally found a copy of The Shaman Bulldog...I think I'll give it a read whether it's chosen or not. lol We've got a three way split at the moment. Hmmm....could be a tough choice. ![]() Cass. |

I'm not done with May's book yet either. Tell us what you think of Mays book on the May book thread.
I'd love to hear your view of it so far. Cass. |

Yup, we'll just start a new book, the May book is still open for discussion, at any time, even a year from now!!
I voted for my choice. I am still wading through Plague Dogs. If it's any consolation Cass, Watership Down is more engaging and seems to be a bit easier to read. I read it for the first time when I was 12. Plague Dogs seems to be a bit thick. Or maybe I am... Either way, I look forward to the book, and Shaman is a quick read Cass, I read it a bit ago. Not really what I expected, but a quick read, and very philosophical, for me at least. |

Yup plague dogs certainly is a tough read. I want to get through it though (even if it takes me a long time). LOL I keep thinking "It'll feel so good once you finish and realise you've done it", although I suppose reading shouldn't really be such a chore.
Still...I will persist. ![]() Cass. |

Just a quick note to say I had to edit the title of the Dean Koontz book because it is in fact the 'Taking' and not 'Taken' as I had written.
Sorry for the spelling error. I bought that book yesterday and couldn't help but read the first few pages, looks good. I hope I get my lovely bones book soon that looks like it'll be good too. And Big Red should arrive tomorrow or friday...with the Shaman Bulldog following soon after (hopefully). Umm...yes, I did buy every book on the list of choice this month. Why? Cause I just love reading. ![]() Cass. |
