Question Has anyone read the Book...

Wicked by Gregory MacGuirre?! I just finished it today! Wow!
I did not think the "Wicked Witch of the West" was such an animal lover!? I'll never watch that movie the same again! Awesome! Just Awesome!

I haven't read it but I have one of MacGuirre's other books that I've been meaning to read for some time (the one about scrooge). I might skip it for a while longer and go straight for Wicked instead. Thanks for the recommendation.

Cass.

Thumbs up

The book is about the life of the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of OZ. My 13 yr. old daughter said a friend of hers was reading it also. I really don't reccomend this book for 13 year olds.
The book tells about how she grew up & all the good things she tried to do, but backfired & how she became a witch. There's some political stuff in there. It tells how she became the friend of Glinda & about her sister, the wicked witch of the East. How the Tinman, Cowardly lion & Scarecrow came to be.

Cool

I am almost finished with the 2nd book. Son of a Witch. It's good, but way to much detail.

That sounds like such an interesting book! I'll have to keep it in mind when I go to the bookshop next tme. I have an ever-growing list of books I want to read, it's hard getting through them all!
