Running with Scissors

Has anyone read this yet? I just started, so far so good.

I read it recently it is a really good book. I enjoyed it.

I read Running With Scissors a few months ago. I'm kind of undecided whether I love this book or not. I think the first few chapters bugged me a bit because Augusten Burrows was trying to write from the perspective of a child, but it just didn't work (from what I remember of my thoughts, I thought, a child would never think like that).

I can't wait to see the movie, though.

The first few chapters are not ringing very true to me either. Well it is not so much that they are not ringing true as they are sounding forced....

I like his style as far as humor/satire but the narrative is very odd.

Apparently his other book Dry is much better, from what I've heard (in terms of writing style and humor).
