"Rena's Promise"

Has anyone read this book? We are reading it in my English class. We have to read something about the Holocaust as part of the lesson plan, but she decided to do something different.

So far, I love it. I usually fall asleep when I read books. If they catch me, I can read for hours. It's heartbreaking to think of what all happened, and this is pretty much first hand what goes on in those camps. Makes you appreciate where we live today and what freedoms we have.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has read it, and what they thought about it. If not, it's a great book.

I have neither read it nor heard of it however I do love the diary of Ann frank so maybe it is something I could read with my daughter. She and I read ann frank together so she could ask me any questions she had. That book dealt with some HUGE issues.
