How do we know when there's a new book comming up?

Hey guys I'd really like to keep up with what books are being read so I can join in if I find one I'd like to read. Do you make an announcement\email or anything like that? Thanks!

It's been a long time since we read a book co_re... I was involved for a bit with the Book Club, but I'm no longer staff.

I'd like to get together to read another book, but I just don't know if I have the time...

No I understand, if I didn't spend an hour+ on the bus every day I wouldn't get much reading done either.

I just finished Marley, I now remember my last dog book(Chicken soup) I have a hard time reading these books(even though I enjoy it) the last 30 pages I end up with.........ummmm somthing in my eye causeing the pages to get rather blury and wet.

It must be a condition associated with the book, I have the same problem. Not something you really want to read in public.

I am inundated with books that I really need to read... the pile on my bedstand is getting higher and higher.

Not a dog book, but a book I just really enjoyed was Abundance, A Novel of Marie Antoinette By Sena Jeter Naslund. I actually listened to it on CD on my drive to work (about 16 hours worth) but it was amazing.... I'll never look at her or the French Revolution the same again.

If there is a book you'd like to suggest, we could have a bit of a casual book club. Basically just pick a book, announce it for anyone who wants to join and then have a discussion at the end of the month. Instead of discussing it throughout the month.
Might be fun, then no one feels pressured to 'keep up' with everyone else.

Cass.
