GP Book Club: Non-Fiction suggestions

Global Paw will be starting up a Book Club. Each month we will discuss a different book and we would love to have your suggestions on which books to read.
Suggest as many books as you would like, but keep in mind that we are an international group, and obscure or hard-to-find titles may not be available everywhere.
This thread is for suggestions of Non-Fiction books. They need to be dog related but can encompass many different areas, including but not restricted to: Training, Competition, Health Issues, etc.
Please submit your suggestions with as much as the following information as possible.

What a great idea, and to be fair to everyone maybe we should first all sign up if we want to be on this book club. What would be fair too is list the breed/s of dogs we have including "mix" and then go by alphabetical order and let each owner (in that order) choose what book he or she chooses for that week. By the way, will this be weekly or by-weekly?

Calgal, I'm not sure exactly what the time frame will be yet, we were thinking monthly, and the book club will rotate through fiction, non-fiction and breed specific books. The breed specific books will be a once in a while occurence, but since we all want to broaden our horizons, we did want to read some breed-specific books.

***This book has been chosen to read for February 2006***

I've heard that this one is excellent. It came out just this past October. Titled Marley and Me: Live and Love with the World's Worst Dog by John Grogan. Him and his wife got a purebred Labrador puppy thinking they would have a mellow, gentle and eager to please dog, but ended up with a 97 pounds of wild, uncontrollable exuberance, a major miscreant of a dog who plunged through screen doors, gouged holes in drywall, raided the trash and shredded the cushions on the sofa. It's a humorous and moving tribute to Marley.
Amazon has this book for $14.95 in paperback or hardcover for $12.99.
