I don't make food from the recipes in Dr. PItcairns book that I have. I just gathered information on neutrition over the past 32 years and now just feed simple plain foods I know to be good for them. So I can't recommend a recipe book, but a book that's a major help in the neutrition department is Ann N. Martins book, PROTECT YOUR PET

Sorry but for some reason while I was typing, it posted too soon.

Anyway the book I'm talking about by Ann N. Martin PROTECT YOUR PET More Shocking Facts has these chapters:

Dangers of Commercial Pet Foods
Raw Meat Diet Controversy
Excessive Vaccinations
Increased Cancer in Pets
Healthy Recipes and Resources

I also recommend her first book: FOOD PETS DIE FOR.

Thank you, I knew you'd have some more

I found Food Pets Die for difficult to read but had great information, was Protect Your Pet easier to read?
