Angry Walmart halts sale of dog treats

Just wanted to let everyone know if they haven't seen the news today.
Wal-Mart has stopped selling two brands of dog treats from two different Chinese importers, though it hasn't announced a recall. Customers complained the treats made their dogs sick. One woman claims they killed her Chihuahua. Link to news about the treats. Not a big surprise where they were made. We really need to stop buying from China. Dog food, kids toys and so much more. Maybe then we would have jobs around

Thanks for the info! I usually buy all my treats where I get my dog food but I think this thread could be helpful to many! I also try to stick to as close to natural as I can get when it comes to the kids treats.

Thanks for posting !! We started buying natural made treats as well. The 2 bags we bought seem to be a big hit with the puppers, so we'll continue to buy them. One is Peanut Bits by Pro Pak and the other are little health bars, from California Naturals- the dogs seem to really love them !
