brand food??

Ok so what brand name food for dogs is good and what is bad???
I dont feed commercial dog food normally but sometimes when we are away it is handy to be able too.

I have tried pedigree natural... any opinions???
When Chloe was alive I had to give her a diet food but she hated it that much that I stopped and went back to home meals.

I would like the ease of the occasional easy meal but dont want to give my dogs anything that could harm them sdo any advice would be appreciated

Being in Australia and reading a lot of the brands that are avaliable in the US I've come to the conclusion that we have VERY limited choice in the premium dry food department.

I personally use Eagle Pack Holistic (don't bother with their normal range food though) and River has always done great on it - and they've got a great range of flavours.

I'm not sure what pedigree natural's ingredients are but all the Eagle Pack ingredients are on their website if you want to compare them.
