Switching an old man to raw diet?

Well actually i have allready decided to switch him, but i was wondering if there is anything i should pay close attention, too. or do I start him like a pup?

Plust he was a hard worker, has mild HD and some Arthritis.
how do i adjust the food so it helps these problems?
Other than that he is in goo shape, little Tarter though!

any suplements you had good experience with?

I would switch him over just like a pup, especially as senior and puppy needs are similar. I would also make sure to supplement with glucosamine and chondoitin and maybe some MSM too to help those joints.
The bones will help with the tartar.

i was firuring it is similar bto a pup, but I mgot a question regarding the suplements you listed.
How are they doesed, how many mg and how much a day?
And oh yeah, where do i best get them?

The bones will definitely help with the tartar. Yogurt is very good to help keep their tummies from getting upset. There is also transition powders-Eagle Pack makes one-that you can get at a premium pet food store or online, which might help (I've never used it personally, but I heard it helps-maybe ask your vet?). Let us know how it goes!

What raw meat do you intend to give???
Some seem to affect some dogs more than others.
My girls can handle beef but lamb upsets them raw yet not when cooked.
I actually feed a mixtuer of both

mainly beef, that is waht we are feeding, chicken occationally, it is too rich for them, and what else we find cheap, but mainly beef.
