I thought that would probably need a separate thread. Two excellent foods. Which one would you prefer to try and stick with it and why?
Why would you try first Innova Vs Merrick or vice versa? Is one of these foods better than the other one and why? If your dog did well on both, which one you would choose to stick with? |

I'm Crunchy

I think it depends on which variety. I personally like Innova Evo, I like grain-free foods for my dogs.
If I found a better grain-free kibble then I would use that. You might find your dogs have allergies or you will find that your dog does better on a different protein:carb:fat ratio, and that takes time to figure out since all dogs are different. ETA- I just looked at both manufacturers websites and looked into it a little for you. I'd think the regular Innova and regular Merrick varieties are equal in quality, they both use great ingredients and they are 24-26% protein, so they are very similar. BUT 24-26% protein is too low for my preferences. I would not feed their regular diets to my dogs since I prefer higher protein content so I opt for the 43% protein of the Innova EVO. HTH |
