Can you suggest me kibble for dogs with sensitive stomach and digestive system that will be somewhat equal to the quality of Innova?
I want to find Niki a brand of food that she can digest, but I also want that brand to be of the HIGHEST quality possible -- if that brand makes also great canned food that I can add to the kibble, that would be great. And just so I do not keep posting new threads (I have too many), is it ok to mix kibble from one brand and canned food from another? If you are going to suggest more than one, please put them in order from highest quality to lowest according to your opinion Unfortunately, I do not have the time to cook homemade meals and I cannot feed raw either (I eat fast food too every day -- I know, pretty unhealthy). Someone told me about Natural Life, but the ingredients I saw online show as three first ingredients: Chicken Meal, Ground Yellow Corn, Ground Whole Wheat, Poultry Fat (preserved with natural mixed tocopherols, citric acid, rosemary extract and ascorbyl palmitate - a Vitamin C ester), Natural Flavors, Dried Beet Pulp, Dried Eggs, Fish Meal, Ground Flax Seeds, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Dried Kelp, Choline Chloride, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Glucosamine, Natural Antioxidants, Vitamin Supplements (E,A,B2,B12,D3), Niacin, Calcium Ascorbate, Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Inositol, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of Vitamin K activity), Folic Acid, Biotin, Zinc Proteinate, Zinc Oxide, Ferrous Sulfate, Iron Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Copper Sulfate, Manganous Proteinate, Manganous Oxide, Cobalt Proteinate, Potassium Iodide, Sodium Selenite. From an older discussion on this forum, I got that a food with these ingredients is not a good food. Am I right? Thanks Everyone! |

I would say try California Natural, if you can get it. Made by the same company as Innova but a tad cheaper in price. CN is a very simple food and better for sensitive stomachs than Innova IMO.
Yes, you can mix one brand of dry with another brand of canned. |

Chicken MEAL is fine - chicken BY-PRODUCTS are bad.
I feed my boys Kirkland's Lamb and Rice which I get at Costco. I live on a budget so I really had to look for something I found acceptable that my Belgian could eat without getting the runs. |

I decided on California Natural lamb and rice formula. I checked the website and it seems pretty good and made specifically for dogs who are sensitive or allergic.
Thank you all -- if you still have any other suggestions to made or any advice, please do so. |
