Im confused on food

What type of Science diet do you feed? Some are better than others. Some of it has Corn as the number one ingredient and some has Lamb meal as the number one ingredient. There are far better foods out there then SD though. I wouldn't feed it to my dogs.

I've been feeding Science Diet Large Breed Adult, which I feed to both my adults and puppies, because you shouldn't feed Great Dane puppies a puppy food, as it usually contains a Protein level above 24%. My dogs seem to do really well on it, they keep a good weight, have nice shiny coats, ect. But, i'm currently looking into some other foods that might be better for them, now. Like I said, i've never heard of anyone's dogs have a really bad reaction to it like that, but now that I have.... i'll be researching some other foods to see what I can find. I always try to do what's best for them.

Here is the ingredients of your food. The number 1 ingredient is corn meal and it has lots of preservatives...

Just met a dane at work that is eating Canidae, and she's at an awesome weight. Not sure if that may be something for you to look into also. They have an All Life Stages formula, so it's a good food for adults, puppies and seniors (and working dogs).

I PMed a member of another forum who knows her dog food and I asked what she recommended I told her about the 24% protein too and here is what she recommended so far. I also just looked online and the Nature's recipe like I feed is 20% protein.
