Help me to find a food PLEASE
Ok I give up, I know what to look for in a food but cant find any good ones here in Cornwall! I dont want to have to order from the net, they were on james Wellbeloved but Its not making me happy! Barney has got a little overweight on it and the girls are a little skinny! I have looked into raw and have tryed feeding it foe 5 days and wowee its expensive! JWB has been costing me a small fortune as well its £36 a bag and I'm lucky it it lasts me a week and a half, help i dont know what to try next! i need to get a food today so that I have enough JWB left to do the change gradually, I dont want to have to chose a crappy food, but there is just no choice here

Wow, I just spent the best part of an hour looking for brands and locations I could list here for you. Couldn't find anything (nothing good anyway).
Hmmm....Can you list the brands you have available? If you can't pick one yourself, perhaps that's the easiest way for us to help. Cass. EDIT: There is a UK brand called "Nature Diet" that seems pretty good. Not sure how much it costs though. You can get it in several places in Cornwall. Here is the site http://www.naturediet.net/ |

Royal canin is not too bad, you should try that. Although take a look at the Nature Diet site (just so you have another option if you want it), it has a store locator on it (I checked 'cornwall' in it and there were several places that came up). Looks like a good food.

I have heard Burns and NaturesDiet to be good, but I don't get em here.... I use Nutro Natural Choice and that seems to work the best for my 5, I have to use lamb and rice because the chicken gives mine the diarhea.... You just have to find what works best for your dog and budget, just because one works good for ones dog doesn't mean it will work for your dog..... Just make sure it is not preserved with BHA, BHT or Ethoxyquin (sp), and the main ingredients is a meat or meat meal and No By-Products...
http://www.naturediet.net/index.html http://www.nutroproducts.com/ http://www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk/index.htm ---- I believe this is the link.... Good luck and I hope you find something that works for your dogs ![]() |

I agree, Royal Canin is probably the best of the foods you have available. Might be worth a shot!
