Train to be a dog groomer

Hi there!

Can anybody help. I live in Warwickshire (UK) and cannot find any where to train to become a dog groomer? Does anyone know of anywhere in this area?

Thanks
Laura

You could practice on your friends/neighbors dogs. Also sometimes, the paper will be advertising for a grooming school. You could try just going to a groomer and asking them for tips and to show you how. Good Luck !

Hey Laura, I was trained in a shop by another groomer. Call your local grooming shops and ask if they are willing to train. Winter would be a good time to do this due to the fact grooming slows down..depending on where you live.

I'd deffinately take up the suggestion of going to your nearest groomers and asking where they were schooled or if they would school you. Good luck!!

Cheers!
