stained fur on paws

Or so it seems. My liitle beige cockapoo has stained fur on her paws (permanently dirty that shampoo doesn't seem to remove). I once used a whitening shampoo but I got such a rash on me my hands that I was scared to keep using it on my dog if it did that to my hands. The paws may have looked a little better but still looked dirty. Her fur is like coton baton so I can see that her fur probably absorbs mud or dirt like a hair dye would?. Any suggestions or home remedies I can use to take the dirty look out?: D

Wow, I'd be scared of using the whitening shampoo too, that seems harsh.

Is she licking her feet? Maybe the staining is from her saliva not really dirt.....

If it's the dirt staining her feet, can you keep her fur short so it doesn't come into contact with the dirt as much, just a thought.

You know, you may be absolutely right, she does lick her paws often, so it may very well be saliva stains. Our backyard has grass in it, the dogs do not go into the flower beds, so other than a little grass there really is nothing she can be dirtying her paws on?
