Best clippers???

I've gotten 4 pairs. 3 sucked and the 4th was fine until it developed a burr and now just bends the nail rather than clipping sharply. Help?

Which type of clippers are you using? Do your dogs have soft or brittle nails?

I personally prefer this type but for brittle nails you may not like these unless you soften the nails by bathing first:

I prefer the same as you. The guillotine style is difficult for me to position the nail in. I just don't know if there is a brand that is better than others...

I actually have a super old pair of the Miller clippers in the above photo, they are heavy duty.

I think I've recently been using something DH picked up at Petsmart.... Groomax or similar. I'll look for the Miller's Forge!
