excessive bum licking?
Hi there! Chloe is going to the vet next week to get some booster shots and I will talk to her then, but I thought maybe I could have an idea about what might be going on before hand.
For about the last 2 weeks Chloe has been licking her rear a lot. Her girl parts and the areas around them including the base of her tail. I thought at first it was just because she was about a week overdue (bad mom ) for her grooming, but it continued after I took her in. It has gotten to the point where there are a few tiny mats in her coat from the licking. She will be in the middle of playing fetch, stop in her tracks and whip her head around and begin to bite and lick her rear. Her quick recation makes it seem almost like something has bitten her. I know for sure she doesn't have fleas, and I ruled out dry skin, as it's only her bum region and nowhere else. Any ideas on what this could be?Thanks in advance! Lindsey & Chloe |

Could be a number of different things but it sounds very much like a yeast infection to me. jmo
