Hands on healing!

I don't know how many of you believe in healing hands, but personally I've seen some amazing healing by those that lay hands.
My family has always been blessed with this gift (along with other gifts) and many years ago I gave it up do to discrimination, but kept it a very personal family practice. Some of my sons are gifted as well, or shall I say they believe, so it works for them. Everyone has this gift, but in order for it to work you have to believe in this.
Anyway, Zada's knee problems kept getting worse, to the point she just wasn't able to walk around very well since both knees were affected. I didn't want her to go thru surgeries so I started laying on my hands and praying. Sometimes my hands will get too hot for her and she fights, but she has stopped limping altoghter, but the knees are a bit crunchy sounding. I'm hoping the healing process will take care of this too.
My question here is, I wonder if anyone of you could try this method of healing, maybe practice, and see if it helps cut down on the expense of Vet. visits and surgries. Remember just how much energy is in our bodies, and if you just close your eyes and visulize sending that energy down thru the body and down the arms to the hands and into the subject, then you may be surprised at how that feels.

I'm very interested in how you do this. Is this a sort of doggie meditation or shaman ritual? I'm very curious as I have 2 dogs in need of some serious healing.
How did you learn how to do this? Did someone teach you or have you read books about it?

Yes I have seen this, but it is not one of my spiritual gifts. However my pastor is very blessed with this gift and has healed many in our church.

I actually went through a spiritual gifts class to find out what mine were, and although we are all gifted, mine and many others were not healing.

I am so glad that your is, I bet if you channel it, you don't even need to see the person or animal, you could do it from afar.

Keep using your gift Calgal, don't give it up. God gave it to you for a reason and we need you!!!

I'm curious myself now if there are indeed books on this wonderful gift. My grandparents raised me and it was just as natural having her heal by laying on hands as eating or sleeping. Maybe you could find someone in your community who does this. Usually you can find out by asking around in your church. Be very careful if you find anyone who claims they can do this IF they want money. This gift is ALWAYS free. You yourself have the gift and well as everyone. My grandmother said it was mind over matter. My closest friend of 26 years never knew I did this. It was just too personal. Now I think it's time to maybe help those to help themselves. Too many of our wonderful companions are suffering and I'd love to see more of them healed at home.

I actually do not go to church and am not interested in organized religion, but am spiritual. So please forgive me if I seem ignorant.

Does it work better if you have a relationship with the person or animal before you attempt to heal or can it just happen with anyone?

I'm not into organized religion either, but usually healers are, and go to church regularly.

No, you don't have to know the person or animal.
