help leg in pain
hey, i have a freind that took in my borthers dog , this dog has had alot of growth problems , bones and all and is currently taking glucosamin pills , they help but its 2 days now where hes liping on his back leg , its not broken or sprained he can bend it and all its the top part of his muscel , its a lil swollen, ive put some myoflex and it semmed to help , any other sugestions that can help the pup hes 2 years old mix of choclate lab and dalmation..please let me know

has he seen a vet? that'd be my advice. they will be able to give you a better idea of what is going on and dispense a safe pain reliever.

I agree.
Any sign of pain in my dogs (even if they're on meds to help), they go right back to the vet! The glucosamine must not be helping as much as it should, or there must be something else going on. Good luck, keep us posted! |

I would have him to the vet right away.
Sounds to me like he might have something nasty happening. check out for ricketts. |

This happens early in the dogs life due to a lack of good diet or underfeeding.
Not enough calcium. My daughter had a lovely little chi who got so ill she was put to sleep. She always fed her properly but the vets didnt pick it up when we took her to them until she was 3  |
