Unhappy Testicle decension

Just wanted to know what is a normal time for a pup testicles to drop?My new american bulldog pup has not dropped his yet and he is 12 weeks old.I have been told they aren't gonna drop and they are just wait till 6 months or so.Can anyone help me?

They should be descended by 6 months, if not, there is a problem...

12 weeks is probably a little early to get concerned, however I admit I am a bit fuzzy in this area.

This site says anywhere from 4 months to a year for normal drop.

In my own breed if they haven't dropped by 12 weeks I start to worry a bit but I don't get too concerned until we're at 6 months. If by 6 months they haven't dropped or only one has then in my opinion it's time to have it checked. Has neither dropped?

I've seen too many dogs over the years with testicles wrapped around kidneys and such to not be concerned with it but agree that it wouldn't be something that I'd stress about too much at 12 weeks. jmo
