Peanut Butter

Is Peanut butter okay for dogs? I have not read anything negative about it, but I was wondering if it is actually okay to give to them.

As far as I know it's fine. Maybe salt reduced is better, but I haven't heard anything negative about it either. In fact it's often recommended for use in kongs (although that doesn't mean much, I guess ).

Cass.

I've never heard anything against it and I also have puppy biscuit receipes that call for peanut butter, soooo I would imagine it's okay!

I was told by an holistic Vet. that the old fashion kind (that you have to keep in the ref.) is the best for the dogs because it doesn't contain sugar & salt. It's all natural. My guys love it!

I let Chico have a tiny bit, from time to time. It doesn't seem to affect him, at all.

I haven't heard anything negative either. I give it as a treat with a Kong, but nothing more than a tablespoon (roughly).
