Just wanted to add a small piece of information.

It is very important when giving/taking any medication that you ask the vet/doc if it is OK to take it with food. With most medications if you ingest shortly before, with or shortly after ingesting any food or non-water beverage you will decrease the amount of the medication that gets into the system. This is especially important with antibiotics, heart and seizure medications and anything else that is highly dose dependent. If you must give it with food it is wise to give it with the same food in the same amount each time to prevent variation in dosing

Thanks OBL! The vet recommended I put it in some food, and it isn't dose dependent (each capsule is actually more than she needs, because it's the smallest dosage available, so even if she misses some it's no big deal) or an antibiotic.
