Pinneaple

Hey guys I have 3month old English Bulldog, and well she loves to eat pinneaple and other fruits especially oranges, is it ok for her to do so?

Quite right! no grapes or raisins
other than that I do believe fruit is okay as well as veggies, if they will eat them, that is!

My dogs love fruit (didn't know about raisins & Grapes but I got spooked about the parrot deaths last year and don't feed them to any of my animals)

The dobie will eat just about anything but the cocker won't eat citrus fruits.

Fruits are great. The oranges and pineapple can be acidic, so keep to small amounts or you may have a loose stool or upset tummy. Also, many fruits are high in fructose, and the sugar could be overdone, so again, stick to small amounts. Besides oranges, bananas, and pineapple, my dogs also enjoy apples, pomegranite, peaches and pears.

I read that onions are not good for dogs in my west highland white terrier magazine. Scout loves veggies too, especially bell peppers!

I've read that about onions too, but never what the problem with onions is. My dogs will eat just about any veggie/fruit.

In fact, they also like paper napkins, tissues (new or used. Yuck!), cardboard, bird food that's been spilled on the floor and myrid other things I have to keep track of LOL

I think onions, like many foods, are not good in large amounts. Potatoes and tomatoes can be toxic. none of the green should be given, but the actual fruit/veggie itself is safe.

Grapes and rasins can cause kidney failure, onions can cause anemia, and apple core/seeds are dangerous as well as they contain cyanide. Tomatoes and potatoes are members of the nightshade family which carry toxins in their greens. Hope that helps explain why those foods are not good for our pooches!

The onions actually cause anemia in your dogs and they can die from it. ( yay finally something I do know for sure )
