If your dog has a cough and is breathing hard I would take it straight to the vet. It could have kennel cough which can easily turn to pneumonia. At the very least, kennel cough is extremely contagious to other dogs!!
Edit to add: I googled wennie dog and found out it is a dachshund! LOL! Where are you from? I like that name for a dachshund and I own two Wennie dogs myself!  |
