Question Help!

My Chiwahwah has a growth ,well it looks like a wart on the bottom of his leg and its getting bigger and redder, i dont know how he got it it just happened about 1 week ago, what should i do.

Thanks! But It looks like that papolloma virus that dogs get. Ive seen it on there mouth before and the vet said it goes away on its own it kinda looks like that. Do you think i should put cordizone spray the vet gave me for rashes on it.

I would call your vet to ask if it's okay to use that. You don't want to use it in a way it was not intended. It may raise the possibililty of making it worse or causing another problem.

It could also, by your description, a Mast Cell Tumor (MCT). A vet visit would be wisest!

Do you have a picture you could show us?


Here is a picture of my Boxer's tumor that we had removed. It looked like a nipple of sorts, but grew very quickly and was redder.

That looks like it could be a mammory gland tumor. You really do need to take her to a Vet. and have it check out instead of putting anything on it.
