allergic to grass?

is it possible for a dog to be allergic to grass?, ever since hubby mowed the lawn last weekend chloe's been having a sneezing fit in the mornings, i think her sneezing caused her to throw up alittle bit this morning, i am keeping an eye on her. I think she has a sinus drainage problem, i just gave her antibiotics a week ago for her coughing, don't want to be loading her up with meds all the time. Im hoping that whatever she has goes away, but of course if it doesn't get better soon then i guess i'll take her in.

I notice casey has been starting to do a couple sneezes but not as bad as chloe though....wonder if i can give her powdered vitiamin C to help her out?.

Yes it is possible. I know of a lady on another forum I frequent who has a Shar Pei that is allergic to some grasses.

Cass.

Angel is alergic to grass! She just gets red and itchy when it goes to seed in the fall. She can't run too much in the tall grass cause she'll break out in a rash on her tummy. I've gone to the vet and they've put her on cortozone (?sp), and different steroids and I HATED it! Made her like a big puppy. She didn't know when she had to pee and she had to go all the time. It was horrible. I could just imagine what the meds were doing to her organs. So now we just limit her time outside in the fall so that she's not so itchy. Works out well.
