New flea preventative?
My feed store is selling a new flea preventative called Tri Force. It's a different formula than Advantage and Frontline. The reason for making it is I guess a lot of people have not been having success with the above products. So, I thought I'd give it a shot.
So far, I don't like it. One thing is that it has made their fur EXTREMELY greasy on the application spot. It looks like I put gel in their fur and spiked it. Advantage never did this. But the major thing was Lugar has a bad reaction to it. I noticed he was running around and sitting very quickly, and twisting around like he had an itch on his back that he couldn't reach. I checked his skin for any redness, and everything looked fine. He continued to do this, and then he started watering at the mouth. And I'm talking PUDDLES of drool everywhere. So, I read the box. If any sensitivity occurred, wash with mild soap. So, I did just that, dried him off. I went to work. My mom picked me up and told me that when she had come back home, his entire neck was red and raw looking. SO, let's just say I'm not using this product ever again. I don't like the results I'm seeing. Has anyone else heard of this or used it? |
