Throwing up?

Chloe has been throwing up quite frequently these past two days. She threw up once yesterday evening, and then twice again this morning. There wasn't anything in the throwup, just her food and the occasional Begg'n strip and she hasn't had any runny stool.
The vomit isn't runny, it just looks like barely soggy food.

Any thoughts as to why she is doing this? My mom is not to happy about the whole thing, and it grosses her out that Chloe eats it afterwards. (I find it helpful as I don't have to clean up as much. )

Is there anything I can do for her to NOT throwup, so my mom doesn't have a cow?

I am curious as well Ritz. My 11 month old dachshund has been doing the same thing for quite sometime now. It once got really bad and I woke up to vomit and diarrhea all over my house and all I could think was parvo. His vet said he had alot of bacteria in his stool. I said "Umm yeah, isnt it supposed too". They put him on antibiotics which helped alot. But now he's back to puking again but no diarrhea. He also said that if they get in stressful situations their body can be subjective to the bad bacteria which can make them sick. I guess its like when we get nervous you sometimes get queezey. I also tried changing his food and it didnt change anything. Just make sure you are keeping him hydrated and in a non stressful enviroment. Also make sure nobody in your family likes to sneak him table scraps. This may be the cause of my problem because my 2 year old walks around with food in her hand and Milo is just tall enough to snatch it right out. Then when he vomits I know he's been stealing her food when I find cherrios and other snacks undigested. Sorry if I'm not much help just letting you know your not alone. Please let us know updates!

Does she seem to throw up not long after you give her a beggin' strip?

Does she "inhale" her food (eat fast)? I know if Kelso happens to be hungry, and he scarfs down his food, he just throws it right back up 10 minutes later.

Is there anything that seems to be the same each time she throws up? You can give her some pepto to help settle her tummy. I'm not exactly sure on the dosage, but you could probably just give your vet a ring and ask them.

Well, she hasn't thrown up again yet, and she has had her food and some beggin' strips, too. She even went into work with me today and she didn't get antsy or anything.

You know what, I didn't even think of this, it might have been because of the open house we had on Sunday. She was eating crumbs and such off of the floor of the cake, party mix, fruit, meat, crackers....I guess I'm used to our dogs who can eat a whole chocolate cake and not even blink. That might be why she was throwing up.

Knewlon - I don't think it is parvo, as I took her to the vet on Friday and she had a clean bill of health. They did a stool sample and everything was negative.

Sarah - She doesn't inhale her food compared to what Sadie used to do. She isn't a dainty eater, but it isn't gone in six seconds like it was when we had Sadie. I'm not sure if that is the problem, but I think it was the openhouse food.

And while we're on the subject of food....my mom threw away the bag that we had Chloe's dog food in, so when do I up the food servings? Right now she is eating 1 1/2 cups a day (half cup per meal). Also, what is the best age to switch to only two meals a day?

Right now she is eating what Sadie used to eat...Puppy Pro Plan Chicken and Rice formula, as that was close to what she was eating at my friend's house. Once I get toward the end of this food, I'm going to buy some Chicken Soup food and make the transition to that.
On that subject, when should I switch her to adult food? We switched Sadie when she reached five months, and I know you switch earlier with larger dogs, and I'm expecting Chloe to mature at around sixty pounds....

Hahaha, sorry for all of the questions, but I forgot how different puppies were from seniors! lol
