I'm Crunchy

As some of you know, I used to work at UCD's vet school in my previous life where I attended lectures like these on a regular basis "for fun". So when I stumbled upon the NEW UCD Shelter Medicine's site by accident, I was pleasantly surprised by what they offer for free. There are lecture notes, online videos of lectures, online Powerpoint presentations, recommended links, recommended reading lists and more.
Since many of us foster, volunteer with rescues, volunteer at shelters or even work at shelters, I wanted to share this with you. Heck you might find some of the information interesting or maybe even useful. I don't agree with all the recommendations but the information is still incredibly valuable, feel free to critic the material. If by chance you have limited knowledge of rescue groups, shelters and/or shelter medicine please take some time to watch the first lecture. I really enjoyed it and I hope you take the time to watch. Warning, it is 45 minutes long and a couple times Dr. Hurley's voice is cutout briefly, nothing too major.
