Demodex

My dog come up with bald patches on her face, above her eyes. She had never had any hair on her neck, but a lot of pin pups dont until they are older (at least to what I have been told)

Took her to the vets, they did a skin scrapping to check for mites. No mites were found at that time, but since she was showed all signs of being a demodex dog, we put her on Advantage Multi.

She has had two treatments, each a month apart, as per directions.

She is supposed to have her next treatment on March 7th.

Was wondering how long should it take for the hair to come back if it is truely demodex? Her hair is starting to come back, but you have to look really close, to see it. She is starting to get hair on her neck as well, but again, have to look really close to see it.

I changed her food from Proplan Lamb and Rice, to Canidae. She is also on Seagreens from Holistic Blends.

Any ideas? Or am I just being impatient??

I found what seems to be a relative website about demodex parasites. You might want to take a look at it. If your dog is growing back hairs, you shouldn't be that worried, but if it doesn't go away, you should go to the vet once more.
