Be one of the first things to come to my mind. I've been fairly lucky and have only had one girl come down with pyo but when she did WOW was it ever scary.

You know, thinking about this a bit more and the time frame involved I'm not so sure Pyo would be what to look for since she appears to be feeling well and acting normally. A little tinge is one thing but straight out bleeding that far into her cycle would worry me.
Discharge shouldn't go longer than about 21 days.....any longer than that I'd consider a prolonged heat. Prolonged heat is usually caused by excessive estrogen levels caused by follicular cysts or ovarian tumors. If she is bleeding and not just a tinge or two of spotting I'd take her in. jmo |
