Lip stuck on tooth ? From Bully stick?

Hi everyone. I just had a really strange thing happen to Emma. We were sitting with Emma and she had a Bully stick and all of a sudden Emma jumped up and it was like she wanted help. She was chewing really fast like some thing was stuck in her mouth. I was freaking out I opened her mouth there wasn't any part of the bully in her mouth or teeth or back of throat that I could see. When looking I noticed her lower lip part of it was a little swelled up and caught on her lower teeth. Has this ever happen to anyone else?? I couldn't get the skin off and you could tell she was getting upset. So I thought I'd get some ice to see if that helped. Meanwhile I called the Emergency Vet , they said I'd have to bring her in. By the time I got off the phone she was fine. So the ice helped. It was such a scary few minutes. Emma ate her kibble and had some water and seems great now. I guess Emma just wanted to make my blood pressure go up a little more. Like I needed that, I've been sick for 3 weeks with my asthma. Which has been very stressful. I don't know if I'll ever be able to give her a bully again.
