Leg injury

My dog slipped to the side on our floor and is now favoring his left front leg. The pads on his foot are swollen too. I've felt down his leg and no protrusions and it doesn't seem to bother him. Any idea on what he may have done.

sounds like a sprain....bruised and tender. I would keep an eye on it

It may very well be a bad sprain but if the pads are even swollen he may have done more to it and should probably be seen by your vet.
