demodectic mange?

i recentley got a Pit bull X Austrailian Shepherd puppy. Hes almost 3 months old and i think he has demodectic mange. Above his eye his hair is very thin and on his leg there is another spot. There not very big and there not red like ive read but it really sounds like it might be that. But yesterday i noticed the one on his eye had a small red scabby thing. If what he has is d mange its localized and i read it heals up on its own. Im supposed to go get his shots but im scared it might make him more sick for his body fight everything off. will the shots interfere with the healing process. Any information/advice is appreciated.

His vaccinations will not effect anything and the only way to know for sure if what your seeing is mange or some other type of issue is to have a skin scraping done. The mite is too small for the human eye and the scraping to be put under a microscope.

Your vet can tell you tons just by looking at the area as well. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
