My dog ate breakfast biscuits

My dog got a hold of about 6 raw biscuits and ate them all! I was wondering what could I expect tonight. Will he get really sick and should be brought in to the vet, or will he just simply get an upset stomach and get sick? Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks, Ollie's mom.

I'd give the vet a call just to ask.

i personally cant imagine it would be too bad, my dogs have eaten worse in the past w/o serious implications
but i'd have the ingredients list available and aske them what you might look for IF there was a bad reaction to something...like an allergy .......

As far as i know graps and chocolate is considered posion for dogs. Our dog used to chew on everything until we learned that she can not digest some of the food she ate (peanuts ect.) She did not develop any serious reactions, and we only give her dry dog food now.

It depends on the food and the dog, although by now I bet this is a non-issue. Shelby will eat everything under the sun, she has eaten entire trays of chocolate cookies (not that we have them to her, my mom was just not usedto having a dog that could get to the counter around and I did not see them...) and was fine. it has never so much as caused her the runs. I would watch the dog and be ready to run to the vet if necessary.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Dogs like biscuits and obviously your's likes them raw..we all have our tastes. Hershey ate a toilet bowl cleaner when I was looking once and I called the vet. The woman on the phone said if you are ever very concerned about what they've just eaten and it's OK or not, then give them a LITTLE bit of hydrogen-peroxide to make them throw up everything on their stomach. I tried it and Hershey's fine. He even felt like eating about thirty minutes later.

The one thing I’d worry about is if the dough contained any sort of rising yeast in it. I’ve heard of dogs getting seriously intoxicated from yeast while it rises in there tummy after eating dough and some even dying from it if too much was consumed.

The raw biscuits will swell in his stomach and make him terribly stuffed, uncomfortable and maybe even sick enough to vomit, bit I don't think it will kill him. Dogs...........ya gotta love um.
