Natural bitter spray?

Is there a recipe for a safe and natural bitter spray? Commercial brands have chemicals in them that I wouldn't want in my dog's mouth.

I can go you one better than that..... Just use white vinegar. Dogs hate the taste of it.

Yeah, but it also has a strong smell. Bitter spray is supposed to be odorless.

that's the idea, you spray a 100% solution of it in his mouth to introduce him to the taste, and then anything you don't want him to chew or bother you spray with a 10% solution of the spray. He'll be able to smell it and remember the taste, but you won't be able to...

You really don't need to spray it in the dogs mouth for it to be aversive to most dogs. Remember they can smell about 10,000 times better than we can!
