How about you cram them inside, then when they want to play, kick their rear ends out! As long as they are behaving inside, they shouldnt be too much of a nuisance plus the flies cant get to them while they are relaxing, and if they are playing outside, the flies wont bother them as much because they are moving.
Just an idea! |

My Parents had a dog that the fly's were always after him. They would by this pink cream swipe? not sure of the name. It's used for horses. It's looks really funny when you put it on but it works. It will heal the bites and keep the flies off. You also need to keep the cream in the fridge. You might be able to pick it up at a co-op store if you have any in your area, or just ask a vet. Good luck

My Chow used to have that problem every summer....the flies just loved his ears.
If you have it in your area Avon Skin So Soft in the cream works VERY well.As for healing them up we always used neosporin. (sp) |

My Akita use to have this problem every summer. The flies would also bite the tip of his nose. We had to apply a cream on his ears and nose everyday, but it did not heal all the way.He was put to sleep about 2-3 years ago and I miss him. God bless his soul and he is looking down on us. I love you MAx my Akita Baby Boy.
