Bleeding Paws!? Help please!

When I got home yesterday from work I left my puppy out of his crate and he was limping a little. He got better within like, 2 hours and he was playing like normal. He had gone to the bathroom in his crate (he normally doesnt) so I thought since he had to stand in that maybe thats why his foot hurt. Today when I let him out (he went to the bathroom again, and it looks like he might have an upset stomach) and his paws were bleeding, although I cant see any cuts or anything, and he cant walk on them, they are hurting him that bad. I am going to stay up tonight and/or set an alarm to watch his crate and make sure it stays clean and I am getting some sheets to put in the crate to help make him comfortable. Tonight it is too late to get an appt with the vet but if, in the morning, he isnt any better I will call the vet to take him in. Can you give me any suggestions? I guess that going to the bathroom in his crate then standing in it is what hurt his feet, but I dont understand why this never happened before (he does go to the bathroom in his crate now and then).

also, he has been licking and chew at them a lot, and I think I read that can have to do with having ichy feet maybe from allergies, or he could have been licking them and biting them because of standing in his stuff during the day

Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I am VERY worried!
Thanks

It is possible that it is due to an allergy. Have you possibly treated either your lawn with something or perhaps put some type of carpet freshener on your rugs? Or have you recently introduced a new kibble or treat that he might be having a reaction to?

I would perhaps try to rinse his paws off in some lukewarm water tonite and definitely give the vet a call first thing in the AM.

Please keep us posted on how he's doing.

I agree with Denise and he really should be looked at first thing in the morning.

as far as lawn, i live in a desert, theres no chance of grass, lol. I can't think of anything we changed recently. Well I used one of those air deoderizors, the aresol type, in the room his crate is it. It could have gotten on the ground and be bothering him. He is seeming a lil better, although I can still tell he hurts a lot. I am calling the vet first thing in the morning
