Crystals in their urine I think can be caused from infection. My boxer/GSD mix was just on meds for a urinary tract infection and my vet said to really keep an eye on him because there were crystals in his urine. Of course.. crystals can lead to kidney stones.

I'm not sure about the greenish discharge, but I know it never hurts to get a second opinion from a different vet.

Good luck! And hope they get better soon!

I would get a second opinion sooner rather then later.

I hope you get a second opinion soon, it sounds like a urinary tact infection, but could also be pyometra which is deadly. I wouldn't wait to get the dog to a vet, a different vet.

okay guys...i did go to the vet she has puppy vaginitis... ugh... and had a uti... as you thought... meds were given but we havent had a check up because she was doing fine..

though i spoke to my breeder and she said that this is the second time she has had a dog sent to seattle that has ended up with crystals... so no more tap water... she said bottled water cleared up the other persons problems

Well I'm glad you found out what was wrong! Poor girl...

That's quite a coincidence! I don't think your doggy will be complaining with the change of water!
