Hiccups...

I've noticed over the last few weeks that Mazie gets the hiccups every now and then... Is this normal? I've never seen or heard a dog have the hiccups before, so I thought I'd ask.. Thanks!

I have noticed that my smaller corgi has been getting the hiccups too. I was thinking the same thing. So thank you for asking.

Hee hee! That makes all three of us! Lucy gets Hicups almost once a week (or she did when she was a lot younger, a little less now), and we were wondering if she is alright!

It’s very common for puppies to have hiccups. It’s nothing to worry about, in fact I find it quite cute.

It's completely normal. In fact, at 6 yrs old, Farley still gets them occasionally.

I know when people get hicups it can be instantly cured by taking a spoon of sugar. Wonder if a pinch would hurt the dog. I've had dogs who got hicups all the time. Don't know why some do and some don't.

Very normal. We call them the hicca-pups here.
