PESTICIDES!! In the grass and our dogs

A neighbor of mine uses pesticides on her grass and she also has a dog. They said it is organic and isn't a harsh formula but yet the company still puts the little yellow flag in the grass that reads pesticide treatment KEEP OFF and has a picture of people walking a dog. I see alot of these signs when I am out walking my dogs and I never let the dogs go near the grass or I cross the street

. Should I be that neurotic over it?

There are a few companies that do use a "somewhat" organic mix when they know there are pets that will be using the area but they still caution owners not to allow their pets to walk through it until it's 100% dried.

I prefer not to use anything other than all natural sprays like seven dust and dawn dish soap for bugs. jmo

"organic" when it comes to pesticides simply means that is an organic from a chemical standpoint. It does not have the same conotations as organicly grown foods. The most common are organophosphates which are very dangerous for pets and people.

I am a big fan of DE, seven dust and soap/beer mixtures to control "pests"
