Hi everbody,
My neighbors dog got sick after a trip to Cape cod and had been throwing up for more than 24 hours (no diaherria). However, they took him to the vet and said he wasn't contagious to other dogs and they did blood work and gave him fluids. They think the ocean got him sick and he may have eaten something he shouldn't have. Both dogs are up to date on shots and myself and the other owner are excellent dog parents . I was worried because her dog and my pup had gone nose to nose sniffing eachother and they will get the results back on the blood Monday. I'm sure I have nothing to worry about, but it is in the back of my mind what do you think!! ![]() |

Just keep an eye on your dog as I'm sure you are already doing.
I think he should be ok. Lots of dogs drink the salty ocean water which can cause them to get sick. Maybe that's what happend with your neighbor's dog. Hope he's feeling better soon. |
