Husky pups ears fell down..why??

We just went down to New Orleans and are currently fostering 6 dogs from the disaster. One of them is a HUsky pup, he's probably 5 months. WE've had him over a week now and his ears have always been fully erect. I went out there in the morning to feed everyon and his ears were down..all floppy. He keeps shaking his head and on the inside tops of both ears there looks like some damage..like little cuts, i dont know what it could be from. Anyone have any idea whats going on with this lil boy?
Thanks in advance

If he is shaking his head constantly and it appears he has been digging at them then my guess is he has ear infections and should be seen by a vet. jmo

By the way, kudos to you for taking in the dogs!!

I'm very happy to hear you are taking in these poor animals! I wish I could help, but a one bedroom apartment is already streached to it's limits with me, my two cats, and the dog. Take the pup to the vet for his ears. My dad's german Shepherd had embollisms (? blood vessels burst) in her ears and now both of them have fallen somewhat - she's about 8 years and this happend at 6 and 7 years (one each year). The vet concluded that she had some sort of alergies and shook her ears so hard that the blood vessles burst cuasing the ears to become more droopy and misshapen. Just my experience, but I'd definately take him to the vet!
